COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil helps bolster your skin's protective barrier layer, trapping moisture inside and keeping skin supple and hydrated.
CARROT
The fiber in carrots can help keep blood sugar levels under control. And they're loaded with vitamin A and beta-carotene, which there's evidence to suggest can lower your diabetes risk. Carrots have calcium and vitamin K, both of which are important for bone health.
PUMPKIN
In addition to beta carotene, pumpkins offer vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, and folate -- all of which strengthen your immune system. More pumpkin in your diet can help your immune cells work better to ward off germs and speed healing when you get a wound.
VEGETARIAN BOUILLON
Vegetable broth contains vitamin A that helps to improve the eyes, enhancing vision, and helping to avoid eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataract. The calcium from vegetables helps to strengthen the bones, helping to avoid osteoporosis and bone fractures.
CINNAMON
Cinnamon helps in losing weight by suppressing appetite, regulating blood sugar levels and speeding up metabolism.
UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK
Unsweetened almond milk contains up to 80% fewer calories than regular dairy milk. Using it as a replacement for cow's milk could be an effective weight loss strategy.
